About Me.
Hi, my name is Bethany.
I’m a millennial woman in my mid-thirties who is navigating the increasingly technologically advanced world while also trying to maintain some humility and humor.
I am a born-and-raised Ohioan, so we make Buckeyes for the holidays and eat Cincinnati style chili. I grew up in a tiny farm town and opted for the suburbs for my family.
My husband Zach and I just celebrated 13 years of marriage. While that doesn’t make me an expert, I believe it counts for something. We know how to laugh at ourselves and with each other.
We have 3 young kids, ages 11, 7, and 5. The youngest is our girl and the older 2 are boys. I believe the good Lord was giving me exactly the children I needed. My daughter was sent to help me perfect the art of patience.
I have been a registered nurse for 14 years, with stints in management, ICU, and travel nursing. I’ve worked in multiple hospitals, various shifts, and worked through the pandemic. Healthcare provider PTSD is real.
I’m an introvert, an animal lover, a member of BookTok, and am a strong advocate for mental health awareness. My goal in life is to leave something in this world a little bit better than it was, even if that is by making a difference in the world through my kids.
Thanks for coming by. I hope you stay awhile.
